About

Meet Elizabeth!

Hi, my name is Elizabeth Idowu and I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). My aim is to provide a safe space where my clients can feel seen and heard, as they embark on a journey towards peace, progress and healing.

My approach to therapy is collaborative, anti-oppressive, anti-discriminatory, and spiritually-integrated. I integrate elements of Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Emotionally-Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness into my practice. This allows for a holistic healing experience that is tailored to the specific needs of each individual I work with.

More About Me

As a Nigerian-Canadian woman, I have both personally endured and been exposed to the struggles of others who look like me and share similar backgrounds and experiences. I am aware of the difficulties can that arise when trying to find help from someone who truly understands. So many have had their mental heath concerns dismissed or invalidated. That is why I make it a priority to create and hold space for those who may relate to these experiences of feeling unheard and unseen.

I also have, and will continue to, work with people from all walks of life. Particularly those who struggle with anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem, identity, relationships, and spirituality.

Maybe you’re an individual struggling with anxiety or a sense of identity. Maybe you’re a couple hoping to rebuild your relationship and heal from past hurts. Or maybe you just need a listening ear. Whatever your needs may be, I am here to help. Just reach out and start on your path to restoring peace.
